The pork slices are marinated in a mixture that includes sugar, salt, soy sauce, garlic, and sometimes vinegar or calamansi juice (Filipino lime). The marinade gives pork tocino its characteristic sweet and savory taste. The sugar in the marinade caramelizes when cooked, giving the meat a slightly sticky and flavorful coating.

Our frozen products are shipped with insulation bags and icepacks to help preserve the food while on its way to you every Monday/Tuesday only. But it's not 100% frozen since it will melt while in transit due to temperature.
